Integrates local applications with the underlying SWIFT connectivity gateway.

It receives and delivers FIN messages, keeping a searchable record of all activity. For outgoing messages it also provides verification of ACKs and NACKs.

• Monitoring of outgoing messages and actual dispatch to the gateway.
• Verification of modified, ACKs and NACKs queues.

Gateway integration depends on the institution's infrastructure, some underlying transports may be file system, database, JMX, MQ Series or SOAP web services.

This component does not provide direct SWIFT connectivity. It is a middleware package to facilitate integration between business applications and the underlying SWIFTNet connectivity of the institution, such as SWIFT Alliance Gateway or a virtual private network to a SWIFT Service Bureau.
